In this video tutorial, I’ll show you how to pour jewelry (made with Pebeo Prisme Fantasy paints) with epoxy resin!
For work, we need:
- measuring cup;
- wooden stick or wooden paddle;
- toothpicks;
- plastic dropper;
- two-component epoxy resin.
Important! Before using epoxy resin need to read the instruction of Use that resin you are using!
We determine the right amount of epoxy resin and pour equal parts of two components in the cup. Stirred vigorously for 3-4 minutes and give stand 5-6 minutes, the resin was not so liquid and does not run down from the edges. If the epoxy resin mix is bad, then the product covered by the resin will be sticky and at all does not dry up, will have to cover again.
Distribute our workpiece on the surface at a short distance from each other. Type in the pipette and fill resin cabochons with the paint. Bubbles remove dry toothpick.
I decided to pour with epoxy and a frame, so distribute it across the surface, and then pour extra to get the lens.
When the work is finished – Cover with any cover or cap – that our workpiece will have dust shield, but periodically it is necessary to keep an eye on them, so as not to miss the “escape” epoxy and have time to fix things! Well, when it hardened so that it no longer flows – leave for 6-7 hours to complete solidification! 🙂
